Her obsession with the perfect pair of jeans and classic wardrobe staples inspired her to build a brand that blends comfort, versatility, and enduring style.
A graduate of Dickinson College with a background in art history, Chelsea’s entrepreneurial path was shaped by her passion for fashion and her desire to challenge traditional industry norms. She built Parke as a direct-to-consumer brand, scaling it organically through pop-ups, influencer partnerships, and word of mouth, all without paid advertising.
Named to Forbes 2025 30 Under 30 in Retail & Ecommerce, Chelsea continues to lead Parke with heart, authenticity, creativity, and a deep understanding of her audience. She remains dedicated to fostering a close-knit team and empowering fellow women entrepreneurs through mentorship and collaboration.

What inspired you to start Parke?
Parke started from a very personal place. I was always searching for those perfect everyday pieces I wanted to live in but couldn’t quite find the quality, fit, or feeling I wanted. I began reworking vintage denim out of my parents’ house, designing pieces I genuinely wanted in my own closet. What started as a creative outlet quickly turned into something bigger when I realized other women were craving the same thing. Parke was born from that desire to create elevated essentials that feel timeless, lived-in, and made with intention.
What was the “aha” moment when you realized Parke could really take off?
Honestly, it was the community. When our early drops sold out almost immediately and customers kept coming back, sharing pieces with friends, and telling the brand story for us, it clicked. It wasn’t just about product, it was about connection. Seeing how strongly people resonated with Parke made me realize this could be something lasting.
When you design, what comes first: the girl, the vibe, the outfit, or the moment?
It always starts with the moment. How do you want to feel wearing it? Where are you going? What does your day look like? From there, the girl and the vibe naturally fall into place. I design with real life in mind, not trends. It’s never about one specific girl, it’s about thousands of women with different styles and lives. I want everyone to feel confident and seen in the clothes, and to feel like Parke is truly for them.
What’s a purchase you’ll defend forever?
A really great pair of jeans. When denim fits well, holds its shape, and feels good, it becomes the foundation of your wardrobe. I’ll always believe investing in quality denim is worth it.
What’s next for Parke?
We’re continuing to grow thoughtfully. That means expanding into new categories, pursuing partnerships that feel truly authentic, and deepening our relationship with our community. Parke has always been about evolving alongside the people who wear it, and we plan to keep building in a way that feels intentional, inclusive, and true to who we are.
